In response to requests from key supporters of the Emerald Awards, AEF is offering an exclusive opportunity to demonstrate your leadership in environmental awareness excellence. As an Emerald Leader, your $100,000 support over three years will fund award excellence, program development and organizational longevity for the Alberta Emerald Foundation.
The Emerald Leaders recognize the desire of many in Alberta to contribute to the overall mission and growth of AEF, while also seeing the Emerald Awards evolve to an even greater level of success.
Your Emerald Leaders support will underpin:
| Award Excellence | by focusing your assistance on one particular award, AEF will truly showcase your support, including a cash prize for select recipients to stimulate even greater environmental growth. |
| Program Development | as a part of new strategic initiatives, your support will contribute to new program development; for example: collaborations with school science initiatives and a distinguished speakers and special lecture series to further raise awareness of environmental excellence in Alberta. |
| Organizational Longevity | AEF’s sustainability and longevity links directly to funding support. As a charity, AEF has taken a prudent step and established an endowment that will, as it grows, provide essential funding to sustain the mission and vision work undertaken. Each year AEF plans to allocate a portion of the proceeds from our work with the Emerald Awards and other activities towards this endowment to ensure that AEF’s established environmental awareness legacy continues well into the future. |
